Commuting on a new bike?
Sort of. I'll be using the re-framed audax machine whilst I build the commuter special. 
What frame did you get?

It is a very special frame. Remember our burglary adn bike destruction in November? Russellm very kindly donated me a marvellous black Thorn Audax Mk1? frame and forks. I stripped down the destroyed ti Airbone Carpe Diem and built up the Thorn. It has the sportier Reynolds 531c forks I had made for the Airborne as both machines have 1 inch head tubes, and in fact, a full set of components from the Airborne bar the rear brake which was flappy canti on the Airborne and replacement cables where they'd suffered damage. He has a bonus of a tubus fly bought from tewdric of this parish last year and never got round to fitting to Airbie for obvious reasons.
I call him Satan. I say 'him' though I haven't really consciously sexed a machine before.
He rides easily as well as Airbie did although he seems a tad more flexible in the rear triangle. The black reflective and the carbon effect chainstay protector are for his beautifully demonic frame.
I suppose I should post a piccie but I never get it right and have to faff around for bloody ages. Why can't we just send a piccie to the forum like we can to faceache?
