It does indeed. Sadly I've no idea what a Banks' is - presumably something beery. Attention to this sort of detail is what Basil was supposed to come along for.

Correct - brewed in Wolverhampton.
When I was a student, I don't think there was a pub in Aberystwyth which didn't serve at least Banks' Bitter (personally, I hated the stuff - my poison of choice was draught Bass)

I think my next bike may well be a Straggler. If it rides as well as a Cross Check, has disc brakes, but can take a hub gear, I don't really have an excuse not to buy.

Apparently it does, yes indeed and absolutely. Respectively. It is, for all intents and purposes, the disc-based Cross Check that the masses (including myself) have been badgering Surly for.

If I weren't so attached to my Genesis Day Ones then I'd be pre-ordering a Straggler.

Hmmm, I haven't even packed snacks yet and I'm nearly at 6kg of stuff. Do you think anyone would notice if I used the motorbike instead of the pedally one?
