I had to wait for a seat as well. Some businesses are still doing OK.

There was 18" of water in the void under the inspection cover (big cover opening into a 2 meter square, 1.5 meter deep equipment void below pool level- the pool cover is an auto on/ off jobbie which lives below a pivoted section of pool floor). The cover wasn't fully winding in and was getting caught as the floor closed down. Having pumped the water out I discovered there isn't a manual overide (unless the axle of the gert big sprocket that is on the end of the cover reel is supposed to accecpt a hand crank handle, which we can't find). Guess it is a job for an engineer.

Sitting in a train at Liverpool Lime St, with a loaded touring bike in the next compartment

For once I got to the station in plenty of time & without being a sweaty, panicking mess.
