Just finished trimming 2 front hedges at late mother's house. Makes it a tad more attractive on the housing market. If current "buyer" drops out then it's off the market and away from the estate agent.

Feeling crap, as when I was assembling some kitchen bar stools on Saturday, I over-exerted myself and felt something in my lower rib cage go twang. Ouch, that'll hurt, I thought. Actually, on Saturday evening and yesterday all was well. However, a 6-7-mile walk, and a 25-mile round trip to the (excellent) Long Itchington beer festival yesterday has really screwed me up.

Ibuprofen just aren't enough.

Ouch!

I just filled the dish washer, and in the process opened a plastic container that had a few days ago been used to hold Taliskers prawns, between meals.

Peeyow...<fx: holds nose>

A few days at room temperature didn't exactly improve things.

It'll certainly be a test of the efficiency of a dish washer to remove smells.

I think that is my problem- I listen too closely to what he is saying. I often wonder if he understands himself. his brain is moving far faster than his mouth can cope with and his thinking is out of this Galaxy, let alone out of the box

Marvelling at how easily a building can go up in flames, along with how such conflagrations* are 'handled' by the London Fire Brigade in Newham.

NB: I had nothing to do with said fire. The first appliance passed me as I was cycling home — the building in question is just a few blocks from my flat.

*a very difficult word to type when your pissed.
