Actually, I've been riding around the environs of Bournville for the last hour. All the roads closed at 1 am 'cos of a half marathon on Sunday. It passes through my area twice in different directions, so the whole area is closed off.
There are already stewards on all the junctions, but they must have instructions to let bikes through 'cos everywhere I go they move the barriers to one side and wAve me through.

Gonna have another cup of coffee andc go out again in a mnute. This is fun.
