Bought a new Garmin SatNav for the car today (not a cue for abuse from anybody thanks).  USBd it to the PC and registered with Garmin.  I'm entitled to a free initial map update via download - "click here to start".

Now What are you doing right now?

I'm sitting here amazed that the estimated time is 46:24:30 hours  -  NEARLY TWO DAYS !!!!!!

Please accept this post as my contribution to this thread through to Saturday morning.

Rebuilding this laptop.  Getting the USB drivers to work is always a bit of a challenge.  Wireless isn't working yet either, so it's plugged into the router.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

Researching WAN emulation software and delay and jitter baselining tools. And the other eye is watching All Murray on the telly.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I got into awful trouble a few years ago at work when they were doing a time and motion study and we had to fill in on a bit of paper what we were doing every 15 minutes, and every 15 minutes I put "filling in this paper."

I'm trying to cheer myself up by looking at Amtico floors and thinking about bathroom tiles and wondering what colour to go for this time. I think I might go for a nice rich turquoise on one wall and keep the rest white/silver.

Having just made a hyooge veggie biriyani, I am mostly farting like a locomotive.  :)
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Just back from a meal at a colleague's place, and feeling thankful that Woolly and I are rather, shall we say, unusual. It's the best way to be.

Maybe we should move over there. I get that same feeling a lot around here. Except for the being invited places part, but no surprise there, since I lack  your social graces and make Andy smell like roses in comparison.  ;D

I'm reading young Mr 1gear's continued rant against pottery in the Arts & Entertainment section.  I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.  But mostly I'm doing the former  :)

Wrapping up SWMBO's Christmas presents.  No doubt I'll get a bollocking for non compliance with using entirely old paper.

I've had enough coffee to stimulate me to brave the Christmas munters in Marlborough.
I have to collect both wheels from the LBS and get the new Bon Jovi album.  Not much to do but as I have not really go anything for Mrs G yet, I may look in Monsoon too.  That will surprise her.
