Nah - just in the garden rebuilding rotten bits of the shed. Back on the fixed down the A584 on Tuesday  - hand tendons are now operating as they were designed to! I won't say what other side effects the steroids had though.

Making alternative travel arrangements for tomorrow's trip to Glasgow.  I was going to travel from King's Cross up the Eact Coast Mainline (super-cheap tickets) but service is looking crappe and the train is terminating in Edinburgh.  (Yes, Embra is nice, and I'll be there Thursday, but need to be in Glasgow Wednesday).  At least Virgin's Pendolinos are better than the usual rolling stock here in the UK.

Getting changed out of my cycling kit, and back into my "normal" clothes, so I can get the tube and tram home.  When I got on my bike, I found that the front brake block has just worn down enough that a hard application of the brake makes the cartridge holder hit the rim.  Since that way leads towards (i) poor braking and (ii) a rapidly knackered rim, I've retraced my tracks.

So, changing into and back out of cycling clothes, plus walking to the bike sheds, unlocking and locking the bike, mounting and unmounting the lights etc all for nowt.  Bah.

On the plus side, I've never seen the Tube or Trams so empty.  There was no problem getting a seat.  I was almost by myself in the carriage on the tube.
