London for a few days: evening recommendations?
« on: 03 November, 2019, 03:14:32 pm »
We've got a case in the High Court Mon-Thurs next week. I'm going down this afternoon (staying on Drury Lane).

I'm happy enough staying in and reading, but is there anything to see/do in the evenings that's cheap and nearby? Or anything I'll kick myself for having missed?
What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?

South Bank centre's just across the Thames near Waterloo.

I don't know what's on at the moment but there's usually the opportunity to hear first class music and world class musicians for not much more than a tenner...
...until you stump up for the program and refreshments...

That’s not bad at all! If we finish in time and I’ve got the energy I’ll have a look.

I didn’t have the energy on Monday. Shame.

I had acclimatised by yesterday and popped in to Condor cycles. Mmm, nice.

Really missing family and cycling. I’m hoping to be home tomorrow night.
