I saw this advertised in CTC Cycleclips, paid my £10 and went along.
The "free" breakfast and lunch was a pleasant surprise.
Building Cycling CulturesI thought it was brilliant. The presentations were professional and the academic evidence base was impressive. The keynote speech from John Orcott (Policy Director for New York City Transportation) was stunning - they seem to have transformed the street landscape by taking away vast areas of streets that were previously used by cars.
I don't think the conference found any magic solutions to the problems of our low levels of cycling, but the challenges (at least to me) became more clearly defined and I'm re-motivated to keep on working at it.
