SBS was great yesterday but today seems to be Geographically restricted.
In other words, we can't get it here.
ITV4 is not working at present for me either.

As far as I can tell, the UK has no live feeds at all for the TdF - what's that all about??

I've just watched the tour live on ITV4 using the above link.

ITV4 on the ITV player i rubbish, it's so heavily compressed it looks like a 1980's computer game, such a contrast to BBC iplayer's coverage of formula 1

Is there no Eurosport live feed? There was last year. I was kind of banking on it, since I'll be trying to watch it sneakily at work.  :(

I was banking on Eurosport as well, but it wasn't showing any TdF yesterday.

Just had a look at the ITV website and you need MS Silverlight to use the ITV Player. Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary privileges to install it on my work computer.

Bugger.

OK... so we've got ITV4 on the telly in the office, but it turns out there's no live coverage today - they're currently showing highlights of yesterday's stage, followed by something about Chris Boardman's hour record then Randall and Hopkirk Deceased.  ???

Turns out you can get a live Eurosport feed on your computer but you have to pay for it - Eurosport Player. It's £3.99 for a one-month subscription, which seems quite reasonable for the privilege of being able to watch the Tour from the comfort of your desk, and I probably would sign up for it, except for the fact that you need Windows Media Player to be able to watch it, which I don't/can't have installed on my work computer...

Dammit, I guess I'll just have to do some work instead.  ::-)

Don't worry smutchin, ITV aren't showing live coverage of TdF during the week at the moment. Their live feed just shows whatever's on TV at the time (which at the moment is highlights of yesterday followed by a repeat of boardmans final hour.

Edit - you figured out while I was typing.

I'm in luck. I've got live pictures every day from 2.20 on France 2 TV, plus English (worldwide) commentary via the BBC website from around 3/3.30.   :)

the ustream one

...now requires a password. It was running pretty slow yesterday (bad framerate) when the final sprint was coming up.

I'm gonna try a couple of others.

The ustream one kept getting interrupted by interminable ads for "male enhancement" products so I switched to another link that had the French TV feed, but that got pulled, then I tried another link that had the same feed and that worked fine.

You've picked the wrong day (it's the Team Time Trial, isn't it?); they oftern start well before lunch time.

Not that anything would actually happen during your lunch hour ...
