I got 'buzzed' by a green Parakeet on my ride to work this morning. Riding along Ray Mead Road, Maidenhead, beside the Thames, I was suddenly very intimate with a long tailed green Parakeet. Nearly took my head off
I am aware that a number of colonies have built up due to breeding escapees but, didn't know Maidenhead had one.
