None of these shelters are a touch on the infamous Shetland bus shelter on North Unst.  It even has a dedicated website:

This French one (Cairon, Normandy) has no comfy chairs, but it does have a mural showing just how to use it

I so want to go and whitewash that out, and then paint a sleeping Audaxer and bike on the wall.

There are some nice thatched ones in Germany:

Coming from a town where many of the bus stops are metal posts in the grass next to driveways, I really like seeing these. I've been planning on talking to somebody at the architecture school here about having the students build bus shelters as projects.

That is all.

... the now world famous hamsters. These hardy rodents stuck it out in the Bus Shelter the whole summer and won the hearts of many a passing tourist. They were fed the odd curry and instead of a bland water bottle, they were spoilt with a bottle of genuine Unst beer, Auld Rock. This may have partially explained their almost total lack of movement throughout the summer.

LOL.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Combined bus shelter and campanile at Filgrave, not a million miles from Newport Pagnell.

Some of these bus shelters lead me to suggets that a prime kit requirement for Audaxers should be a couple of lengths of para cord and a hammock.

Not far from the other one you posted at Grafton Underwood either. Such a shame that these two fine examples are only about 10 miles from my home.
Do you have any photos of those ones north of Lincoln? You know the ones on the top of the ridge. Back in the day, around the mid 1990s, they used to even have hanging baskets outside, but they seem to be left to ruin now. The gutterring is coming off of one of them.

I sat in one only last weekend - near the North and South Carlton turn offs.  The N. Carlton one is a bit overgrown.

I also saw a nice on in Camblesforth, but already occupied by a hiker.

Meanwhile I present you with this one near château arabella

I like this one but not sure if there is a bench

If you happen to be riding through Goombungee in Australia, there is a very pleasant and beautifully maintained shelter with tables and benches and water tap in the reserve in the middle of the very wide main street.  The general store also makes the best toasted sandwiches.

There are always fresh flowers in the public toilet in the park opposite too!

I was reminded of this thread while riding through the Yorkshire Dales where there seems to be a best kept bus shelter competition going on, many with good floral displays, this probably the winner;

Just across the border in Cumbria, no such frivolity, though good for getting out of the weather for a brew and extra marks for the gate;

A swedish bus shelter with a front door.

At the side of the main road (A130 - it's got tarmac and everything) between Вяртсиля and Со́ртавала.

I thought the A130 connected Canvey Island to Cambridge.

Didn't you get the memo from the central committee concerning the renaming of East Anglia when the revolution comes?

Dubai:

Features air conditioning! Shame about the benches, mind.

(I noticed someone had added this to their favourites on flickr - check out their other favourites, it's quite a mix of fashion, fine art, Hollywood and bus shelters)

Hungarian bus shelter. Typical of the southwestern region,  near the Austrian border.

Not strictly speaking a bus shelter, but I think it belongs here.
