We plotted a series of likely quiet places with benches - Danbury/North Hill, Abberton etc and joined them up. It turned out to be a windy day and not many came out! The concept is sound, though I think for a more sociable event they could be more closely spaced in the heartland of MEMWNS Territory. Needs some more thought ... doesn't really need seating, if just a chat and off again - riding clock/anti- clockwise and there's bound to be plenty of accidental meetings.

There was a lot of that 'accidental' meeting going on last time - families, dog-walkers etc, noticed when riding around the lanes.

The Somewhere Else List (maybe Cross Keys, Nounsley):

1. OD
2. Oaky
3.
4.
5.
6.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

I'm going to pull out of tonight - Larraine has been diagnosed with Covid.

As I was away in the Peak District when she became symptomatic and she has been living separately since, I don't have to isolate but I don't want to take any risks with you.

See you the other side of lockdown!

I'm aiming to be there by 8pm. Might need the extra layers I carried but didn't use last Wednesday.

I like the idea of Wednesday, but can't see anything that we can actually do?!

Larraine is now much better - thanks for all your good wishes - no cough and now back at home! (and Toby and I are virus free!)
