Knee specialist East Midlands
« on: 21 May, 2017, 06:41:11 pm »
Long story short, about a year ago I ruptured a tendon just above my left knee (playing badminton) and it has flared up big time over the last few days, scar tissue the size of an acorn has trebled in size and I can't put any pressure on it - cycling on the flat is ok, spent much of yesterday walking up hills and pretty painful walking up stairs.

By chance does anyone know a cycling sympathetic knee specialist in the East Midlands?

Tks

Guido Geutjens at royal derby and derby Nuffield.  Excellent surgeon

I'd also suggest David Hahn at Spire Nottingham / Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Thanks for the feedback folks, I've been referred to a Mr Esler at Nuffield Leicester, if anyone needs a name in the area.
