It's horrible only having 5! ITV player has got better, so it's not too much trouble to watch Lewis tho. :)

I've been trying to find out why my TV ain't working... no channels on freeview at all that I can find.  I assumed the cat had done something to it whilst I was at work.  :)

Anyway, I look at YACF and here's the answer.

Thanks.. now I know its not just me...  Time to watch some of the stuff I've recorded over the last few days .

yes: turned TV on for daughter, and found only analogue channel 5.

On the bright side we'll get on with our various books whilst the brave TV mast repair people grapple with their elements. Wouldn't much fancy being 150m up an unsafe structure myself either.

When I lived in Cholsey, unemployed, I nearly did a Rod Hull when an very important Engrish Poofball match against the Slightly Newer Enemy* was not on in Nice Oxfordshire but was on in the Deep South.

Nice Oxfordshire was instead showing the Blitz Celebration in Coventry**. I climbed on my roof, loosened the TV arial and swung it round to point at the Very South.

*Not Scotland. Or Argentina.
**Yes, that's down to the enemy referred to in the first instance.

6 months later I got a job in Coventry.

So: Do not retune. You may end up working in Coventry.
It is simpler than it looks.

Andy - thanks for alerting me to the breakdown - I was swearing because I thought my recently installed aerial had packed up and thought I would have to chase the installer - another excellent service from YACF!!

Our freeview recorder also lost its entire library of recordings! It's pretty old - I actually hope it was losing the signal that confused it, and not an underlying problem :-/

(might need somone to update us on Damages... )
