Which tea-spoon?
« on: 20 June, 2008, 04:01:28 pm »
Mine died last night whilst using as a screwdriver to fix the mtn bike.
Any suggestions as to a replacement (or valid excuse) so Mrs itchy doesn't find out/get angry??

I could always use my default get-out clause and blame the kids of course.....

Was it from a set?  Could you find out what the set is and buy a (or few) spare(s)?  If you search the internet you should be able to find a suplier.

Blame the dog, everyone else does.  Or you could say you were trying to make her something like a cake :-\  Failing that just be honest.

There is no spoon.

We had no teaspoons. My mum thought this was Not a Good Thing, and provided us with new ones. And new teatowels. Ours were rather covered in bike oil.  :-[

I remember the good old days when I was a teenager mending the occasional puncture. I didn't possess tyre levers so my mother's tea spoons it had to be.

Are your teaspoons numbered or something?   We have a drawer full.  Occasionally I need a bit of stainless, about 3 inches long and 1/4" wide for something in the garage...hmmm, teaspoon.    Once I was caught having welded the handle of a teaspoon into a particular project.
