Very possibly.

Subject to Real Life constraints but I need the miles.

Hmmm, worth a thought. I was hoping to get out at some point this weekend. What did you have in mind?

Sorry OD, I think he probably meant riding outdoors.

You could always meet us at Wetherspoons afterwards.

Just some sort of ride really. Starting some time in the morning. I figured if I agree to meet some people for a ride I'm more likely to actually get out and do some miles!

Let's see if we get any more interest and plan accordingly.

I assume OD has given up on us unless we go spinning instead.

Saturday morning Flitch Bikes ride to 'Bicicletta' cyclists' café in Saffron Walden, for about 11:00. Not been there before, so we thought we'd check it out.

I'm thinking of setting off at about 8am and then having a Witham 'spoons breakfast at about 11am. Not sure which day yet.

OK, I'm committing to tomorrow morning not Sunday, it works better from a family POV.  So, I shall be at the Spa Rd roundabout at 8am and aiming to be in 'spoons for 10:30am ish for breakfast (sans beer cos I'm being healthy).  I had in mind just following my nose as opposed to setting a route beforehand.

Thoughts?  Wanna come?  huggy says he might be setting forth awheel.

Tomorrow looks better weatherwise.  Sunday looks very wet.  Even DL will probably be indoors on Sunday.

8am start works for me as I drop no 4 child off at 7am.

I will be partaking of an Essex Energy Drink at the High Street Dispensary.  No doubt Huggy will as well if he comes.  You can take being healthy too far.  I have given up enough stuff already.

Anyone else coming ?

I'm resisting the temptation to rant yet again about the avant garde tyre choices you lot often torture yourselves with  ::-)

Rant away.....I am on the edge of a great thing and i have come to the conclusion that fixing the odd puncture for the extra enjoyment I get from riding 'better' tyres is well worth it. Comfort and return for effort are benefits worth having and I reckon with the Stans sealant and new rim tape I will be much better off.

Fair enough.  I'll be our merry group's thought leader when it comes to utility cycling and associated gear.  You can be inspirational on the tyre front  ;D
