At the time, they were also selling the proper cyclocross Triestina, though the disc version rather than the canti version that FVDD used.

Potentially it's a very cheap method of adding assistance to bikes for the general public.

I'm surprised at how cheap it is already to be honest.  Around £3000 for an assisted Wilier seems cheap when you compare that to some Fugly e-bikes out there.

It's going to be tough for local clubs to detect this technology though.  Expect to see me winning some local events any time soon.

Some people say I'm self-obsessed but that's enough about them.

Never mind the motor, that bike has an obscene number of spacers under the stem.  Is outrage!

UCI regulations, which were recently strengthened, state a rider is given a minimum suspension of six months and a fine of up to 200,000 Swiss francs (£141,000) for an offence of "technological fraud", while coaches, mechanics and other officials could also be sanctioned.

Really? You can tell the uci are really serious about stopping cheating, not.

Looking at the size of the motor I'm wondering how long before Dyson come out with their version . . .
