I'm fairly interested in this. I could get a train to Hat Pev and cycle home afterward. I probably wouldn't bother if the weather was crap or icy though

Just as well I'm a geography teacher cos I've had a fiddle with Googlemaps and I reckon your best bet is to ride 1.1 miles to chief's house, jump in the Merc and let him drive you 1.8 miles to the pub.

We could meet you at either Hatty P or Witham station and you could come with us for a spin up TMNH.

Chief could swing by my house thus avoiding any cycling, even better.

Good idea, I can see how that would work!

Afraid chiefy cabs has been put into administration due to a lack of fares

Is whatshisface coming out to play?

Just to clarify, this isn't like the Hatfield Peveral place where you have to bring your own food, beer or hand drying machine?

The Windmill offers a full service, i.e. they provide food and drink.  It is also very close to where you live.  You can cycle there, I know you can - be brave, give it a try.

                                                   28nov=bat and ball,hambledon

                                                  SAT 1  DEC PLANNING MEETING=red lion,chalton(details to follow)

                                                     5dec=harvesthome,denmead
                                                   12dec=bird in hand,lovedean(ALBERYS LAST RIDE WITH US)
                                                   19dec=rising sun.clanfield
                                                   26dec= boxing day no ride!
                                                   31dec=afternoon ride depart rowlands at 2pm, home by 5ish

                                                    2jan=mead end,denmead
                                                    9jan=the george,finchdean
                                                   16jan=izzak walton,east meon
                                                   23jan=fox and hounds,funington

We've been there, done that and found it fell apart too easily...  I think we maybe didn't/don't have the same core of regular riders that the Pompey chaps/chapesses have?

I need to stop being a lazy git so I am planning to get out. I was thinking in terms of The Cats or The Hurdlemakers although I'm more than happy to fall into line with the plans of others.

Thursday (tomorrow)  is a possibility.  I will have to consult Head Office.  Can anyone else make tomorrow night as opposed to tonight?

Where shall we go tomorrow night Tomsk?  My original thought was The Cats or Hurdlemakers or both but I'm up for other suggestions.
