I'm not worried by all the 'retro' stuff - moles,sleepers, garottings in subways. It all makes a nice change from the gadget stuff - Spooks has always trod dangerously close to letting the toys take over the programme.
(The mini-nuke felt like a scene from 70s Bond).

I was convinced Harry would be shot in the head by a sniper. I was on the edge of my seat watching through my fingers.

I'm glad that didn't happen.

No.  But I do remember an odd series he was in as a kid that was on sunday afternoons.  Summat about Hungary 1956 and stuff (never did work it all out).

Wondered what had happened to him.  He was quite cherubic as a youth.

On the nuke side - why is there always a wire that stops the timer. Why would that wire leave the timer? Surely the only useful wire would be between the timer and the detonator. There certainly would not be a wire that stopped the timer, and then a secondary timer to take over in case the non existent wire stopping the first timer was cut.

I'm in Scotland. The last 3 episodes have been on Saturday nights, not Mondays. So I've seen the end of the series now.

we got well and truly perplexed in this house by the combination of bbc1 / bbc3 consecutive episodes and then the switch to Saturdays for what we thought must be repeats...
