Yup. There have been Bees here too.

And Lady Blackbirds with beaks full of Stuff. Presumably nest-making Stuff.

There was a Peacock butterfly fluttering by as I was walking yesterday.

Large bright yellow butterfly (brimstone?) seen on today's warm lunchtime ride.

Uh oh.  The grass is beginning to grow.  Looks like I'll have to start mowing the lawn in a week or two.
Bugger.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

First smell of cut grass on my ride out this morning......means I'm going to have to think about doing mine sometime soon.
There's always time for a second slice of cake.

I suppose this means I'm going to have to start thinking about cetirizine at some point.

Grass was being cut in Hill (the name is misleading) on Saturday. With a ride-on mower. Oh, the nostalgia, took me right back to infants' school!

The re-appearance of yoofs with their bottles of cheap vodka on the flat cut back from the pub.  The bottles will be amusingly smashed on the path later tonight.
Also evidence of the return of bastard Canada bastard geese bastards.   :(

When are the going to be declared "vermin"?

The daffodils are flowering in the garden !
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

The daffodils are starting to 'turn over'. :(
Next door's magnolia trees, one white, one pink, are in full flower.
There was an ant in my kitchen yesterday.

You must be further south or lower down than us as our daffs only started flowering at the weekend.

Same here, pc.  Blackthorn is the bloom of the moment!

Blackthorn out here too. That yellow bush that flowers before leafing is in full bloom in our garden too. The grass badly needs a second cut too...

Well, Outer London is south of North Yorkshire.
I think.

I watered my container garden today, first time this year.  Too late to save some of the pansies though, oops

And I sat outside in my jammies eating my breakfast and drinking coffee, and could smell the wallflowers, and there was a bumbly  :D  and I wasn't cold, not even a teeny bit.
