Mrs Wow goes solo
« on: 29 August, 2008, 06:53:05 pm »
Apart from local Brompton pootles, Jan generally prefers to stoke the tandem than ride solo.

Here is a rare occasion when she ventured out on her solo machine - a Dawes Discovery 701.

Doesn't she look really good? :D

"If you think I'm riding through this, mate, you've got another think coming!"

(Mrs. Wow surveys the River Can near High Easter.)

This was her longest ever solo ride - just short of 48 miles.

Yay!

Helmet's at a bit of a jaunty angle though.... :-\
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Oink flap flap, oink flap flap ;)

Actually, that's not very flattering to my lovely wife, is it? :-[

You mean the "widow wowbagger"? - caused by her killing you  ;D  No proceedings would be taken in the circumstances - I'd stay awake for the next few nights if I were you.

Excellent

Mrs Wow has "naughty" wrists on the bars though, makes it a lot more wearing on the wrists.
