I find this, outside St Pancras, thoroughly bizarre, although I suppose that I should have some sympathy for the local authority, who have presumably been driven (sorry) to distraction by road users not understanding more reasonable options:

Cycles should not beware of flying motorcyclists.

;D

No Entry is often used where the flying motorbike might be more appropriate. Perhaps here it would be preferable! After all, it is an entry point to a road where motor vehicles are allowed, and it is simply entry by that route that is forbidden (except to cyclists).

Silly because it's about 3 minutes ride from the university, as someone with a biro has attempted to rectify.

Maybe it's 10 if you go up the pole?
What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?

What's HOPIRG?

Googling Hoprig shows it is near Cockburnspath, for which I need better kerning or better VDU spectacles.

If this was aimed at literate badgers it should have a red diagonal line through the image.  Maybe it is warning mere humans about the presence of honey badgers, sabre-toother badgers etc.

Alas, I could not locate this magical isle within the confines of my local Tesco Express. Just as well I wasn't there for a sandwich.

The result of building a new Co-op in Fishguard and an bus interchange.

Town planners call these 'leisure lines' - allegedly in a New Town , say , you don't put paving stones down until it's clear where people want to walk.

Pembs CC let people decide where to walk (from the supermarket to the bus stop, perhaps?)
and then punish them when they do !

I've heard the term "desire lines" - is that the same?

Spotted in Flitwick on today's club run. That's a bargain on any measure - most people pay that kind of price to park cars - but they don't seem to have room even for one.
