A couple way way back in my family tree took their young'un to Dereham church to be christened. They wanted to call him "Og" - this being the shortest name in the bible.

"Don't be f*cking stupid..." says the vicar (possible paraphrase)

So they named him Mahershalalhashbaz - this being the longest name in the bible. Much later, this lad became landlord of the Cherry Tree pub in Dereham (1869-1893):

EAST DEREHAM - CHERRY TREE

I was propositioned in a backstage loo by a famous rockstar*

Hmm? ;)

OK, it's none of them!  Though, on the cheese stakes, I have seen Des O'Connor with his trousers off.  It was a friend of Boy George's who wished to have a Liberatoring experience.

At school I played Sir Toby Belch, Scrooge and Sir Anthony Absolute (obviously in different plays).

At the time I was thin and sober.  Now I'm a fat drunk and I blame drama for all my problems.

I'm quite light on my feet - at least as far as Scottish Country Dancing in primary school was concerned.

I have, unfortunately, tasted the thong of ambition, whilst it was being worn by Hummers.

I'm not sure if that means I gave him a blowjob, I do know that getting rid of the taste was very difficult.

Oh, it was in Richmond Park, so perhaps that also means that I was dogging.
Won't somebody think of the hamsters!

Following Zipperhead's last post with my "interesting" fact that I was Cinderella in the first ever village pantomime where I grew up, seems somehow to tarnish the memory.

I played Monopoly at Fenchurch Street Station in the British Monopoly Championship of 1975 and was interviewed on telly by Monty Modlyn.

I dance regularly with a former British ballroom and latin dance champion.   He plays 'lady' whilst teaching me my steps...    :-[

I played Styx in my school's production of Orpheus in the Underworld. My singing was probably in the style of William Shatner.

I have sung live at the Albert Hall with Rolf Harris.  I was a Sea Scout at the time and we sung the Rod Stewart hit "We are sailing".  There were quite a few other Sea Scouts present at the time but I think I was the best  ;D

Consequently I have always had a fondness for Rolf whom I think is a talented chap.

I once had a drawing exhibited in the Tate Gallery.

... and then the graffitti police rubbed it out 10 minutes later?

No.  I presume it was incinerated once the 1973 Sunday Mirror Exhibition of Children's Art was finished.   :(

Well, I was working with Gary Glitter the very next week... :o

No, but that's partly cause the herring got a bit mingin & maggoty.  It was merely meant as a present for some friends who had an exhibition, but when I presented it to them, they cleared a space at the front and put it in pride of place :D

The herring were replaced with cardboard fish after the first day or so.  The violets remained real.

I had another exhibited, but I can't remember which... ;D
