"...there's no trees grow up here..." while the camera shows what look dangerously like ... trees with cyclists riding past them.

From yesterday....he was French national champion 59 times. (Don't think so) and ...last year he was over confident...this year he is confident...  ???

If I'd thrown something heavy at the anbaric WWP every time those two charlies mentioned the race's recent visit to the Yorkshire Moors, I'd have:

  • run out of heavy things, and
  • broken the WWP

Also if there is such a word as "descendancy", there shouldn't be >:(

Sherwen is banging on about "big diesel engines" again.

(Exits, envisioning Sherwen being run over by a tank)

Michael Rogers is apparently of CAMRA. A team I could get behind.

I noticed the other day that Phil was referring to Majka as "Madge-ker" but I guess someone put him right because today he has reverted to the more conventional "Mike-er".

His pronunciation of Jeannesson does sound amusingly like he's saying "Johnson" with a vaguely French accent though.

Gary Imlach seems actually to be able to pronounce FOREIGN properly.  Another reason to take those two dinosaurs behind the barn.

To be fair to them, it's not as easy as you think waffling on for 5hours +.

They do make a fair amount of cock ups but so do Eurosport. This year SK has stopped saying certainTly and fateeguew  ;D

How far was Jack Bauer from the finish when het got caught the other day?  The public has a right to know!

Also, are you sure it wasn't 24 metres?

Many visitations on today's stage, but it was not the PF to blame, but rather the rain washing the "small flintstones" into the road.

What, Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm?

Yes, I know about Bamm-Bamm's parentage, thank you :P

Only just found this thread....
Earlier on today they referred to Leopold König as German.

I'm sure that on stage one they claimed Jens speaks English with an Australian accent (any confusion with Henrich Haussler is not understandable)

Yes, Phil, technically Nibbles wore the Maillot Jaune on all but two days, but wearing it on the podium on Day 2 hardly counts, does it?

Edit: and if it does count, then Nibbles wore it on le quatorze Juillet as well.
