Dammit, Cudzo, I wish I'd thought of that!

Congratulations, CBL!

Well done you!

ETA. A friend/customer is a cycling instructor and recently taught a lady to ride her bike despite her dyspraxia and balance issues.

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

I was wondering could my (not very old at all) Barley stitching be tweaked to improve the light strap which has partly come adrift. I could take to local Cobbler but there is an inner lining and dont know what to do for best? TVM.

I replaced my cheap and nasty rack bag with a CarraDura, its a thing of beauty. I don't know who made it so thank you all at Carradice.  :)

Look on the label; it should have the signature of one of the Carradice Ladies.

Not on the CarraDura stuff.  I suspect they may outsource it.

Not sure it's a thing of beauty, but like the Prima that went before it, it's eminently practical.

I've been replacing my non-cotton bags (Ortlieb, Lone Peak) with Carradices! So now I have:
Camper LF: Emma
Super-c pannier R: Debbie
Super-c  HB: Kelly
Super-c pannier F: Susan

Man, I wish I were that popular with the wimmens in real life!!

My Barley by Sue, in honey and green has been giving sterling service on day rides. But I realised I needed something larger when staying over night and would require the dinner jacket, so purchased a Nelson long flap by Christine, in black and white to match my titanium framed bike [retirement gift to myself]. Both saddle bags are admired by my mates on their carbon bling machines. So much so I am lending my Bagman and Barley to one of them for our next overnight trip. He commented that the build quality was so good I will be leaving them in my will to my son.

Mice have been at my off duty and not very old at all bags. These will be wending their way to Carradice central in due course.
