One of the Kraftwerk founders has gone. Died last week but the family kept it quite and low key.

Co-founder of electronic music pioneers, Kraftwerk, Florian Schneider has died at the age of 73.
Well there goes a big chunk of my youth, Kraftwerk gave inspriration to shit tonnes of music I had as my soundtrack.

Mr fimm has a relative called Florian Schneider (no relation to the Kraftwerk one). He was a bit thrown by the "Florian Schneider has died" headlines as he didn't know the names of the group members.
He was messaging his relative about something else the other day and took the opportunity to comment on the namesake. "His" Florian Schneider replied that he only found out, several years ago, when someone contacted him asking about tickets for Kraftwerk concerts in South America...
