In a just about related note, I was watching a trailer for Europa Report, and recognised the voice of Anamaria Marinca, who played Darla von Karlsen in Asylum of the Daleks. She plays Rosa Dasque, one of the six astronauts on the spacecraft in this film.

Of course, when we'll be allowed to watch Europa Report in the UK, is anyone's guess.

Good choice of new the new Dr, IMO. He was in the Fires of Pompeii episode when DT was the Dr.

I am trying to make up my mind.

He seems to have several serious roles as well.

It will all be down to deciding how these character traits combine in the new persona

However a serious Doctor will alienate (no pun intended) many of the younger audience who are used to the lighter scripts

Just tried to watch the programme. I didn't last even five minutes before I wanted to slit my wrists. So I came here to se who it will be.

TBH, I'd prefer the old fashioned way of finding out when the doctor regenrated, but I guess these days it's hard to keep something like that a secret. Oh, for simpler times.
