but the Lara Croft character was annoying, cliched, and Just Not Angelina Jolie. >:(

I thought the 'absolute zero' security measures above the "Cup" were hilarious.
I suppose with the show only being an hour long, they couldn't afford to have her piss about too much. ;D

I think the best one they've done in recent years is "Blink" and they've really got their work cut-out to come up
with a script that'll come even close to that episode.

For the Lee Evans fans there is http://www.youtube.com/v/Cv0l2tQRIks&rel=1.

It reminds me of a' Venetian plague doctor mask' when he turns the helmet around.

It should be interesting. The old Dr Who's used to drive me nuts with their four or more episodes per story. At least the current ones are pretty much self contained (with the occasional two parter), so more instant gratification!

I just wish we had a proper series, rather than these occasional specials.
Actually, it is rocket science.

I haven't watched that many of the Sarah Jane Adventures - but saw "The eternity Trap" a few days ago, and thought it was pretty good http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00ny4nq ...written by Russell T Davies.

Scariest thing I've seen for years. Definately one to watch from behind the sofa.

I've always thought that the Doctor would appreciate the ingenuity, efficiency and environmental friendliness of bikes.

I didn't find it scary but I thought the character and emotional stuff was great, and it was good to see an Ood.

No, luckily ;D He was trying to look through his fingers but then gave in. I don't mind. No pressure for the little man. This way at least he will not be in our bed later

It's interesting where the names they use come from. Uwd is the Welsh for porridge :)

It was one big Timelord existential crisis. Very good.

Ood/uwd is just a coincidence though.

Luckily this was advertised well ahead of transmission time and I was able to find something better to do with my time.

Wish I liked the programme as I know it will be the sole topic of conversation in the office on Monday morning.

All a bit "grown up" though, eh? Especially the suicide - not sure if kids will really get why she did it.

It was good, though. But not nearly as scary as Blink.

It were good, Mrs B screamed when the first alien face appeared, but - I know that we are not meant to actually ask questions of the mechanics of sci-fi, and that it was just light entertainment, and I don't want to sound like Comic Book Guy...but, why didn't he just grab all the people, take them to some far of planet of friendly aliens and leave them there to live out their lives quietly? That way history wouldn't have changed - people on earth wouldn't know they survived and all would have been happy.
