....am I the only one who wondered if Amy was wearing knickers while floating outside the Tardis at the start of the episode?

Nah, you weren't the only one  :P

Pictures, please.

You'd want the Doctor's viewpoint for a definitive answer...

The weeping angels were really scary - but even scarier was the wee boy in the gas mask and the creepy clockwork monkey banging the cymbals. *fear*

Those things are creepy. Does anyone actually have one that isn't possessed/evil/a harbinger of doom?

As for the butt plug thing, am I the only one on this forum who doesn't know what one looks like  O:-) ?

I am in possession of something which resembles a huge glass butt plug, which a mate found in a field circa 1975.  He always maintained it to be some king of insulating wossname from a high-tension power line, but now I know better.

I have pictures disabled on my Distance YACF Viewing Screen, but I believe in the episode I watched, Amy had 2 separate excursions.

Hope This Helps

There's another crack, you know - on one of the screens in the TARDIS.  It looks like a crack in a map of the Universe:

That is the same shape as the crack in Amelia Pond's bedroom wall.

I took two grabs, about a second or two apart. The view cuts from the first to the second with nothing between...

Yes, that's the not-so-subtle clue I was referring to in my earlier post. I thought the crack storyline had been brushed aside until I caught a glimpse of it on the screen later in the episode.

It's also the same shape as the crack in the hull of Starship UK seen at the end of ep2 (see Cunobelin's screen grabs upthread).

Interestingly, all the cracks appear to look pretty much the same, ie are they the same crack ? :

Episode 1 (Amelia's Bedroom, just as it's closing)

Episode 1 (Screen on the Tardis)

Episode 2 (On the side of Spaceship UK)

Episode ? (Another screen on the Tardis)

I can't find Andygates' crack for comparison (which episode is it in, and where?), but from his shot it certainly looks similar.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Eleventh doctor?

I can think of:

William Hartnell
Patrick Troughton
Peter Cushing
Jon Pertwee
Tom Baker
Peter Davison
Colin Baker
Sylvester McCoy
Paul McGann
Christopher Eccleston
David Tennant
Matt Smith

That makes Twelve.  I think I may even have missed someone...

Ah but Peter Cushing was the film version, so doesn't count, and Paul McGann just doesn't count due to his totally wooden performance.... so is ackshully 10 :)

Ah, if we're counting it like that, there's:

1.  Tom Baker
2.  Christopher Eccleston
3.  (Grudgingly) David Tennant

Peter Cushing doesn't count, since he wasn't involved in a regeneration.  All the other doctors have regenerated from the previous one, or been regenerated into the next one eg Paul McGann & Christopher Eccleston only did one direction each, the regeneration between them presumably is taken to have occurred off camera, and William Hartnell & Matt Smith are at the "ends" so only have one regeneration each.
Actually, it is rocket science.

I think Peter Cushing is generally considered to be one of several "non canonical" Doctors. Richard E Grant is another.

There's a list on Wikipedia, of course.

I really like the idea of Geoffrey Bayldon as the Doctor. Tbh, I didn't know he was still alive - probably too old for the part now though.

I really like the idea of Geoffrey Bayldon as the Doctor.

According to Wikipedia (again), he actually turned down the role before it was given to William Hartnell. Shame.

Don't know how he would have compared to Hartnell, though, since I've not seen many Hartnell episodes - a bit before my time. Probably would have been quite a similar style, I expect.
