Thank you for your e-mail.

The 'Over the Rainbow' trail in 'Doctor Who' should not have played out on Saturday and we apologise to all 'Doctor Who' fans whose enjoyment of the show was disrupted. We recognise the strength of feeling that has been expressed and are taking steps to ensure that this mistake will not happen again.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us with your concerns.

Never mind Amy being the new Master, perhaps it's Graham Norton who's the new Master...Now that is a scary thought  :)

Fuck all that. She's just fit....

I was pondering this ( ;)) earlier today. She doesn't have an amazing figure. She doesn't flash flesh, or have a face to die for.

Yet she's universally regarded as well fit . . .

I think it is because she haz teh attitude.

I think she's really beautiful. And let's face it, I couldn't give a toss about a girl's personality  :P

Edit: Only joking  ;)
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

She looked great in the police uniform with 'pelmet' skirt. Hopefully, she'll be in a nurse's uniform before the end of the series...

Or even the Doctor's daughter...

I wonder what happened to her. Now she was fit.

Good point, yes I'd forgotten about her, Peter Davison's daughter.  Yes, well fit  :)

Perhaps River Song is her daughter (Fathered by Cap'n Jack Harkness?)

Georgia Moffet, Karen Gillan, Freema Agyeman, Carey Mulligan, Billie Piper, Sophia Myles, Kylie, Michelle Ryan, Myanna Buring... the people in charge of Doctor Who at the moment really are doing their best to keep the dads interested.

Was Peri the one that was from Australia?

Perpugilliam Brown was an American, who I believe was supposed to come from California.  I was always annoyed by her irritating accent (I don't get annoyed by US accents generally, her's just grated for some reason), and I've since found out that she's actually a British actress, so gods know why they didn't just get an American actress. :-\
Actually, it is rocket science.

The annoying accent is the only thing I remember about her. Perhaps it blinded me to her other charms.

the Aussie one was Tegan, the airline hostess who generally screamed and whinged a lot.

Saw Peri last year in Don't Look Now, playing opposite Chris Tate.  She has aged well, and her acting has improved!

Did they really need two episodes for that story?

Er, yes, I think they did. It would have felt rushed if they'd packed it all into one episode. The story had room to breathe, which I like. The first ep was mostly setting the scene, the second was mostly action. I thought it was great. Best of the series so far.

In the old days, much thinner stories would have been spread out over four or five episodes.

My only criticism of this series so far would be that the main story arc is far too reminiscent of Bad Wolf.
