Everlasting death?  I reckon Rose's wazzing around will end up in her being bloiped out of the timestream entirely.

Bugger bugger bugger.  I'm off to visit the family this weekend, so won't be in a position to watch it until Sunday evening... >:(

I hate not being a Time Lord!

I don't think River Song is the new doctor.

Why isn't it Saturday yet?

Slightly OT, but it would be fun....

Wow.  :o

I've just caught up with the two episodes I missed by being away on a work trip to the States. The way they pulled so many diverse threads together was impressive. And regeneration - I didn't see that coming. Tomorrow's finale is going to be a real tour de force.

But can somebody explain Rose Tyler's false teeth?

We will be at Mr R's parents tonight - but Dr Who is a bit of a religion in their household, so no problem there...

Hmm... hmmmmmm.... hmmmmmmmmm...

well, despite the multiple doctor / hybrid doctor-human developments, I was beginning to think it was really quite shite, until that really rather fantastically downbeat and lonely ending. Just how it should be...

I loved it when Donna started to talk like Dr Donna.  That was very clever.

I think Daleks talking German sound like it's their natural language.

I loved Captain Jack having filthy thoughts about two Doctors and a DoctorDonna.

That was so wonderful and so sad and so beautiful, plus explosions.

Actually I really liked Davros in this one too... and Donna grew on me through the series, although she was far, far outshone by the wonderful Bernard Cribbins... but actually thinking about it, I enjoyed this episode more than I was thinking immediately. I still wasn't as excited by the whole Torchwood / Sarah Jane Adventures link up. But that's probably because Torchwood is pretty dismal sub-Buffy hokum and SJA doesn't really fit at all...

I'm going to sit by the window now in case the Doctor swings by in the TARDIS looking for another assistant. If you don't hear from me for a while, I'm off travelling in space and time. There's no psycho bus drivers left-hooking the TARDIS.

What a cracker. Funny, clever, terrifying and tugging at my heartstrings, Hollywood-style for the ending. To anyone who's ever pondered why an Earth-conquering alien race speaks English - when they're in Germany they speak German - of course.  ::-)

My six year-old niece phoned me up before and straight afterwards to talk about it - she was most dismayed after she'd worked out that she'd be eight when the Doctor returns. Christmas special notwithstanding.

Well, I just assumed everyone understands them because of that thing the TARDIS does to translate, like a babelfish. But I suppose they had time to learn German. Good job the Osterhaagen station wasn't in Italy, or the Daleks might have sounded quite comical.

ETA: and I don't think they thought their masterplan through very well. What would they do if they were the only life form left in the universe and they had nobody to exterminate or wage war against? They'd get bored quite quickly.
