I've got an HTC desire S so may as use that as my GPS / performance tracker. All advice welcome!

I think Rich uses Cardio trainer, which I have tried myself.

It works, in that it tracks your route, gives you stats (incl calories) and stores your 'workouts', on your phone, or on their site.
DrMekon uses

and/or
http://www.dailymile.com/
he's a big fan of the quantified self though.
All can be used to advertise your success on facebook.
