Some c*** stole my Surly Steamroller from outside the Jolly Butchers in Stoke Newington, Hackney last night.  Please keep an eye out for her - I had her for nine years and she was part of the family

Grey 59cm chrome forks and components Phil Wood hubs, Mavic rims, White Industry Eno cranks, Nitto Rando bars, Nitto stem, Thompson seat post, Chris King headset

Gutted :-[

Saw about this on Facebook Jonah. Gutted for you, it is a lovely bike. Got any photos of it?

Will certainly keep my eyes out.
Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

That's awful, Jonah.  I remember us climbing Buttertubs together two or three years ago, you on the Surly  and I on my Scott.  Now they've both gone to scrotes.  It's a horrid feeling.

Hello folks,
thanks ever so much for your kind words and advice and thank you Marcus for putting the picture on the thread.  (I'm still not sure how to do this?)

Yossarian is putting a post on LFGSS and I've just come back from Brick Lane market.  Not a very nice experience - I think I may have been too obvious as I scanned every component - I then went to that dodgy area where they sell complete bikes.  Always strikes me as a little odd that crack-heads prefer SPD pedals to flats?

I was subsequently verbally abused by on of the stall holders - believe me I did want to fcuk-off.

See you guys on the road soon :D

A few days ago, I saw a squid hipster in Dalston riding a bike that had the same crank as the one on my Surly.
As I 'U' turned to follow him my heart began to pound.
As I approached him I realised that the bike was lugged; oh, and it was also lime green.
