Two new Four Corners Audax events for 2020 “Dambusters” and "Dales and Abbots" 16/05/20

Dambusters 200km
A new 200km event for 2020 themed around the Dambusters raid. Starting from Stoke-on-Trent, then head out to the Peak District for a circumnavigation of the Derwent Dams. Lovely views and quite a few hills!! Some sections of off road paths, about 15km in total, mostly hard packed cycle trails and fine on 25mm tyres, well worth it for the scenery.

Dales and Abbots 100km
 A pleasant rolling route around Staffordshire and Derbyshire lanes, following the Dambusters route for the first 25km but avoiding the hills of the Peak District. A visit to Sudbury prison cafe and through the historic town of Abbots bromley.

Did the 200km version yesterday with a bit of addition.  230km with 3340 metres of climb.  Absolutely stunning ride through areas I have ridden but Shaun took me on roads I have never used before.  If you get the chance to ride next year then do.  Otherwise I hope Shaun offers it as a perm.
