A young age for someone who was quite fit as a younger man.

Decent guy and a very decent footballer - in many ways a bit ahead of his time, either that or born a generation late.

Interesting that when he went to Italy, he took to their way of playing without issue and adapted to the country and sport very well - primarily because he was more interested in playing the ball to a team mate rather than kicking the ball into the stand or kicking the man to the ground - something that a few other British midfield players had little concept of in the 1970/80's :-)

Man U legend.

Would have suited the modern game.  Way ahead of his time in the English First Div.
