Antihistamines
« on: 11 May, 2018, 06:04:59 pm »
Here in Germany OTC medicines are stupidly expensive so I laid in a stock of the basics from the UK, such as paracetamol and antihistamines.

My partner Klaus is suffering very badly from his allergy (grass and tree pollen) at the moment. The Cetirizine Hydrochloride and the Loratidine (Claritin) both work to some extent but still aren’t enough on the worse days. He takes either one or the other but I was wondering, can he take one of each per day when it’s really bad and would that help?

Not sure about the wisdom of mixing tablets, but depending on his symptoms, what about antihistamine eye drops or a nasal spray to supplement either cetirizine or loratidine?
