I thought I saw Socks on his MTB coming down the south side of Brussie Hill between Bolam and Killerby. Looked like him behind the big shades

, but he didn't turn when I called his name, so probably not.

Couldn't be me, I have several bikes, none of which are mountain bikes. Maybe a case for another bike....

Not even that, my O level and A level maths teacher used to use that phrase at the end of worked answers. I used to then end my maths homework answers with QED.

Phew. I thought it was just me. Meanwhile, Mr Dowson, my maths teacher BITD would finish a proof off on the blackboard with a QED. "Quite Easily Done".

Isn't this a gerund(ive) ?
In which case the translation is more properly "That which had to be demonstrated".
