Whoever gets there first, please keep a good clear corner or flat area for Torslanda's gazibo.

Thanks.

I am busy Saturday but would like to put some faces to names/pseudonyms on Sunday if anyone is riding out that day?

Most people depart for their homes during the day on Sunday but we're staying over until Monday.   Not sure about riding but feel free to drop in on camp if you are in the vicinity.

We have booked tickets to the cycle show on Saturday so we'll be off there and back in the afternoon. If anyone wants a lift, they are welcome to join us.  :)

The whole point is to *escape* Birmingham...

The NEC is in Solihull. Narrow escape!

Solihull, like Sutton Coldfield, is the only place that thinks that it isn't part of Birmingham.

Snobbery.   That is all.   :D

There is likely to be a ride around the puddle on Saturday.

I'll have you know that Solihull was part of Warwickshire until 31/3/74. Sutton Coldfield has officially fallen under the jurisdiction of Birmingham City Council since that date as I used to delight in telling them when I worked there.

Is it too late to join in?

I thought I would be needed for an open-day at work on Saturday - turns out a format change means I can escape.

If I can drag a bike that will take luggage out of the shed in the morning, and pack some clothes, I'll ring the campsite to see if I can get a pitch.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

I expect they'll have a space for you somewhere.

I'm mostly packed, but in a rush due to being busy with Other Things, so it's entirely possible that I've forgotten my trousers or something.  I'm catching the Train From Hell at around lunchtime tomorrow.

Didn't realize the Spin Cycle would take panniers...

The spincycle(s) and the Wobblebike (which can take panniers and has been used for a YACF camping weekend!  :smug:) are tooooo deeply buried.

Woke up stressed and achey this morning (it's been a difficult start to term), so I won't be there tonight.

Plans are to get a train to Oakham tomorrow morning - may or may not have camping gear.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

Just called Wing.  We're in Field 1, same field as last time.   Sorry Tors - just how it goes.

However, meteorologically speaking, forecast says double digits even overnight, low winds and lots of lovely cloud to keep Polar Bears happy!

I am expecting us to arrive somewhere around ea time.

We're Winging it. Some wet stuff this evening, but not to the point of annoyingness.

Woken by vehicles up and down the access road through the night.  Otherwise it's quiet with few campers and lots of space for excited bicyclists to test their machines.

We've been invaded in the past by earwigs, slugs, snails and even ants but never before by daddy long legs.   They are obligingly easily caught and evicted though and don't leave a slimy trail behind to remember them by!
