Well they clearly need more lanes on that motorway so it doesn't happen again, and larger cars just in case it does.

I-95 already has 16 lanes in places (though in other places goes down to four). Americans don't stop driving because of snow, they just go out and get stuck or crash. It's very predictable.

At first glance, this story seems tailor-made for this forum's more... peurile minds...

Quote
A reality TV star who sells her farts in jars has decided to stop selling them, despite making $1,000 per jar. But fans of her work shouldn’t worry too much. She’s still going to sell her farts as non-fungible tokens, more commonly known as NFTs.

Stephanie Matto, who appeared on the reality TV show “90-Day Fiance” and gained a huge following on TikTok, says she had to go to the hospital recently with gastric complications because she was eating so many high-fiber foods to produce more and more farts.

Mind you, reading the whole article makes we wonder if another Carrington Event is the electronic laxative that the world is in most dire need of nowadays:

What would happen if a Carrington-stylee Event crossed its beams with the 5G Bat-Control Plague Rays being transmitted by the [“Milk Marketing Board” – Ed.]?

Two men take corpse into Irish post office to claim dead man’s pension

Also, Father Ted was a documentary.

Did they say the corpse wasn't dead, he was pining for the fjords loughs? :demon:

I've spent too long in this forum - I read the above and had visions of a certain scene involving the gastronome gangster, his moll and an egg yolk in Tampopo...  :demon:

This one doesn't really fit in the Ukraine or random political snippets thread, so it might as well go here:

Woah! I think you need some sort of warning on that second photo. Seeing so many Putins at once is enough to make anyone think they've slipped into some sort of Really Bad TripTM.

After Paul's dentures were found in landfill, Spanish authorities used DNA records to eventually track him to his Stalybridge, Greater Manchester home.

Textbook BRITISH tourist behaviour, of course.  But surprising diligence by the Spanish authorities.  Perhaps they thought the teeth might be evidence of some crime or other?
