Well, the first word we chose is a good starter to hit lots of very common letters. I went through a lot of possibilities in my mind before opting for the second word. I couldn't think of any other which used the letters I already had.

Hitting that particular 4th letter and getting two further letters really does narrow the field considerably.

Only if you're playing in easy mode. I prefer hard mode, in which you must use the clues given each time. From the start I chose my first words with letter frequency in mind, and I usually aim for three attempts, and only occasionally need more than four.

Pleased to get it in 2 not in hard mode tho'
Shared on family what's app, android RTL mode reverses the order of the tiles - appears as if I got it from 1st, 2nd 3rd letters

4 out of five letters correct first guess. Pure fluke. There are so many words that I could have chosen. The field shrinks massively now and I start going through the alphabet ...

Second guess still the same four out of five letters correct. Harrumph!

Got it third time.

Such a quick hit, or miss. Suits the modern craving for instant gratification I guess.
