There's an old soviet firefighting method involving drilling a big hole and stuffing an unclear bomb down it that seems perfect...

Other gateways to Hell are available, such as Swindon and this place:

Interesting to see the yurts, or whatever they were, around it. I didn't think there was much camel grazing in Mordor.

You know what Brummies are like.  Give them a flat spot of land and they'll park their camel on it.

There's a Gateway of Hell in Portugal, no fire sadly but one of the best rides ever:

Chum of mine used to talk about going round by Hell to get to Worcester.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

There used to be a Cafe Hell right by the river Inn in Kufstein, but Mr Google's Kerbcrawler shows it's been renamed the Inn Cafe. Boo.

Kufstein fortress is a good morning out.  They keep all the Nazi memorabilia in the attic, a bit like Father Seamus Fitzpatrick's secret room.

Hell is in Norway.

Uninspiring destination. Great journey.
