Starting to get things under way ... I will probably cap numbers at around 75 for each event: we're at about 30 currently.
Tyrrell's Restaurant at Snetterton Circuit are happy to cater for us at the half-way point on the 200km. I already have a controller lined up for duties there too. (Thanks BFC!)
The last stage on both events is being tweaked on the route from Newmarket, with a lanier but rather lovely way through to Steeple Bumpstead. (The result of Lockdown Meanderings!) There will be the option of the B road (outbound 100km) way via Saffron Walden, if it's below freezing. I need to get confirmation (so far just a provisional booking) from the church for the use of facilities there, but I should be in a position to get things more definite soon.
I need a couple of volunteers at least for catering etc, start and finish, please. 200km Helpers' Ride on 26/02/2022 with the usual inducements on expenses - elevenses, lunch, Wetherspoons crumble and custard at Newmarket, beer at the finish etc!
