5am alarm, Preston station for the 7.17am to Wolverhampton and then its pedal power to IOW via Gloucester and then to the YACF camp. After that we plan to head north via the east midlands into Derbyshire and eventually Yorkshire and home to Preston again. The bikes are fully loaded and sitting in garage waiting patiently for the off.
We are off to the pub in a little while to say goodbye to friends (and maybe have a drink or two) and then we shall have an early night. I'm sure I won't be able to sleep, I get much too excited about touring.
