Yes. He was very ill, and very ill cats become anorexic, so you have to keep them nourished while they get back in the habit of eating.

So Mikey has died. He reached a good age, but when I saw him in June I didn’t think I’d see him again, 17 so a good age. He was a splendid boy.

We have a part-time visitor, too - though she's the opposite and visiting less now it's colder outside, and is presumably staying in her actual home (same street, different block of flats) more. She was happy to test out our fleecy throw (though she prefers it when there's a nice warm human underneath).
