I'd really like to do Hadrian's C2C. Indeed I have the "book" and have perused the on-line Guide and researched the B&Bs and checked feasibility of trains to the west and back from Shields/Newcastle....

And my plan is to do it on fixed.

I was discussing whether solo or "supported" (Cycle Active?) with herself just a few minutes ago - solo it will be. If at all.

Not sure about timing (choice is mine).

Any advice (or, better, encouragement or, even better, "bet you can't!") gratefully received!

At the current exchange rate you can probably afford it.

Ride more than last year!

Do an end to end

go riding with windy again

arrange another Stroud Ride

Do some real 200's and maybe a bit further.
It is simpler than it looks.

Mrs Chris and I have just signed up for this. It's the first assisted tour we've ever done. Maybe we're getting old :-\.

I've got two main tours planned.

Irish end-to-end, starting 22nd May.

Coast-to-coast, Foulness Point to St. David's Head, starting 18th July (provisional).
Not done - due to YHA difficulties. May try this next year as a camping trip. However, I did a solo tour from Southend to Burnley and back, with some rail assistance. This was my first ever solo bike camping trip and I'm intending that it shouldn't be my last.

I'm investigating an April trip to Devon but haven't told Mrs. Wow this yet. This, hopefully, will be at the same place that Peli & Woolly stayed at in May, and we should be there for our wedding anniversary*.

Otherwise, keep up the riding to the tune of at least 6000 miles for the year.
Almost at 6000 miles already. Have upped my target to 8000.

Lots of YACF trips with as much silliness and innuendo as can be mustered.
The WARTY was born and has served us well in that respect. Sadly one of the key ingredients is now missing... :'(

York Rally.
Not done - did the magnificent Sostice WARTY instead.

Mildenhall Rally.

Dun Run.
Well, I did 138 miles but never got to the beach. Given that it was my first century on the tandem and I rode the last 28 or so miles solo, I reckon it was above and beyond the call of duty.

I suppose I'd better just keep riding now to get my total up to 8000.

My "weekend" plan is to ride on every lane shown on my OS127 map. There are hundreds of them; the map looks like a fishing net. I reckon that might take two years and several thousand miles if I have to ride from home every time.

My "Easter" plan is to smuggle my bike to New Zealand where I'm going for a family wedding. However, I'm only there for ten days and cycling is being defined as anti-social by most of the rest of the family. That's 50:50 for now.

My "Summer" plan is to cycle out to Lyon in France where my daughter will hopefully still be living in a flat. I might cycle back too.

My "Audax" plan is to do some, and get back to riding 200s - if they are on a Saturday (because I finish so late.)

My "daily" plan is to continue to cycle to work every day.

I love this cycling lark!

Plus: Land's End to Glasgow, via home and Middlesborough, in two chunks.

France was nice. I want to go back.

I have a vague notion of Ely to Combe Martin (in-laws' place) over 3 days whilst family take the 4-wheeled option. Knowing me, a vague notion is what it will stay... :-[
Alternatively, take bike on car and do a near C2C of Combe Martin to Bodmin (brother's place) and back the next day.
Join some YACF rides if I can get a pass.
More regular bike commuting when I can solve an increasing electronic luggage issue.
