diet for sinuses

Mrs v has trouble with her sinuses
No dairy seems to help a little bit

Any other diet suggestions that might help sinuses?

This sort of thing is impossible to research on the Internet.  Far too much insane nonsense

Warm salty water. A little sodium bicarbonate may be added, to taste. I find it helps a lot.

To be taken via the nostrils. It is probably best to spit rather than swallow.

I've not found that omitting anything from my diet helps, but not eating enough is a Bad Thing.

I asked my ENT consultant about "reducing snot  by not eating dairy" and he reckoned that for most people this was not going to make any difference and the risk of lower calcium wasn't worth it.  I went dairy free last winter and I'd say there was no significant change to my failENT issues.

What I have found does work:
1) antihistamines every day on prescription
2) nasal spray every day when i remember to take it

3) Take more nasal spray when I get early warning signs
4) Take ibuprofen when I get early warning signs

I seem to have managed to stave off nasty lurgy with all of the above and I usually get EVERYTHING going!

Don't know if this is available in the UK, but it has worked wonders for me:
(Actually, it might be available from Boots)

It doesn't cure it, but it certainly helps controlling it.
