How about turning up at hers with your furniture & cats?

That's the traditional lesbian approach, isn't it?

I'd go along with a picnic idea- surely loads of lovely places up on the South Downs.

Really not sure about the tandem suggestion- it would actually put me right off if a 2nd date suggested that, but of course some would like it.
You mean she'll assume you're a snurglar and this is a sting operation?

A good walk where you know that there is a good cafe for lunch or afternoon tea.   Plenty of time to talk.

Making picnics can be a risk with allergies and fussy eaters.

walking to cafe is a MUCH better idea than a picnic, while outside temps are around zero!!!

(and walking is - for some reason - a better tongue-loosener than sitting down. (ooh-err) )

I think that the furniture/cats approach is going to work in one of two ways.  Either way you get to the relationship end state quicker.

I have been begging bobb to turn up at my flat with his cat. The mice are driving me crazy.

Much like tandem rides, really.

Bike hire is available at Future Cycles in Forest Row. Or try Pooh Sticks at Pooh Sticks Bridge just outside Hartfield. For extra points bring your own sticks as there aren't many left at the bridge. Then go on to Gills Lap and eyeore's special place.

Future Cycles have just closed :'(

Fx: keyboard tappity tap.

So they have. Bugger.

Damn, I was hoping to try them once Spring had sprung.

Well that went well. Sunday roast at a decent pub followed by a long walk. A drink. A kiss. And talk of a third date.

Well done team :)

Is the right answer. Glad it all went well.

I saw s and roast in close proximity, thought that might have been taking it a bit far for a 2nd date but fair play.

I'm surprised this hasn't been moved to NSFW!

The lady question called last night and suggested an evening for the third date, the location of which I will be keeping a secret from Valiant and Roger.  :-*

I do so hope Afsoas's girlfriend has recently joined the forum...

How far are you from Cambridge? You could go out in a punt and write a poem about it. The possibilities are endless.

Take care when choosing words that rhyme with "punt"

It might well have been a target.  I wore it for a day in and around mid-Essex during early December.  There was quite a bit of shooting going on and several people commented they fancied venison for their Christmas dinner.  Thankfully, despite the death threats, I survived unscathed.
