That is just about the most moving piece of writing I have ever seen. Max died yesterday, a week after it was published.

I can't read it, because AdBlockers. Pfft... the Grauniad, and their capitalist ways can go swing.

But - and with respect to my friends, for whom this Easter weekend is a very poignant time of year - I leave this here; I can't identify with any g(G)od that brings a child into the world, only to kill it off before living a full life.
