Friday Night Ride to Cambridge - 14th October
« on: 05 October, 2016, 10:43:19 pm »
In what will be the last official FNRttC of 2016, the ride isn't actually going to the coast, but it's still a valid "C", as we're going to Cambridge.

There's a full thread over at CC - http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/friday-night-ride-to-cambridge-14th-october.207765/
or there's the website with a signup sheet at http://fridaynightridetothecoast.blogspot.co.uk/p/october-14-destination-tbc.html

Planning is already under way for the 2017 rides with hopefully another new destination, to add to the new ones added this year.

I think this shows commendable prescience. With sea level rise, Cambridge will be on the coast soon enough. Furthermore, it already has two nearby beaches

Hmm, FNRtTC - Friday Night Ride to the Cambridge ... ?

Does this mean that Cambridge too, has to be raised to the heights of London; "The Cambridge" like "That London" ? ;D
Actually, it is rocket science.

Given the context of the thread, I think you mean "The other place"  :D

If anyone needs mechanical support before you head home, I'm 5 minutes from the railway station!

(yes, I should probably be riding it)

Indeed - as my daughter (Oxford graduate) says:

Oxford - dreaming spires
Cambridge - perspiring dreamers
